Ingredients

  • 4 wildebeest steaks
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 red onion
  • 200 g of marinated tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 100 ml of beef broth
  • 100 g of bread slices
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar

Method

  1. Prepare the wildebeest steaks by chopping the onions and garlic into cubes.
  2. In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic in a bit of olive oil.
  3. Add the grilled bread slices and chopped red onions.
  4. Add the marinated tomatoes and beef broth, stirring well.
  5. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and add salt and pepper.
  6. Grill the wildebeest steaks until they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
  7. Serve the steaks with the vegetable sauce and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
