Ingredients

  • 250 g of flour
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of golden syrup
  • 1 cup of black tea
  • 100 g of almonds
  • 100 g of cocoa powder
  • 100 g of chocolate chips
  • 100 g of walnuts

Method

  1. Mix the flour, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and golden syrup in a large bowl.
  2. Add the eggs and mix until you get a homogeneous dough.
  3. Infuse the tea and add it to the dough, mixing well.
  4. Add the almonds, walnuts, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips, mixing until you get a uniform consistency.
  5. Shape the dough into a circle and bake in the oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let it cool down and serve either warm or cold.
