A traditional Irish sweet, the Wicklow Tea Brack is a crunchy and sweet delight, ideally enjoyed during the Christmas festivities.

Ingredients
- 250 g of flour
- 100 g of butter
- 100 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of golden syrup
- 1 cup of black tea
- 100 g of almonds
- 100 g of cocoa powder
- 100 g of chocolate chips
- 100 g of walnuts
Method
- Mix the flour, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and golden syrup in a large bowl.
- Add the eggs and mix until you get a homogeneous dough.
- Infuse the tea and add it to the dough, mixing well.
- Add the almonds, walnuts, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips, mixing until you get a uniform consistency.
- Shape the dough into a circle and bake in the oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
- Let it cool down and serve either warm or cold.
