Ingredients

  • 800 g of lamb in pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 200 ml of coconut oil
  • 200 ml of lamb broth
  • 2 tablespoons of curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • chopped lettuce
  • 100 ml of lime juice
  • 100 g of dried red chili peppers

Method

  1. In a pot, sauté the onions and garlic in coconut oil.
  2. Add the curry, black pepper, sugar, and chili powder, stir well.
  3. Add the lamb broth and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Add the lamb pieces, cover, and cook for 1 hour or until the lamb is tender.
  5. Finally, add the chopped lettuce and lime juice, stir well, and serve immediately.
  6. Serving suggestion: served with basmati rice.
