Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 300 ml of beaten eggs
  • 300 ml of milk
  • 100 g of panko bread crumbs
  • 100 g of cornstarch
  • 500 ml of oil for frying
  • Tonkatsu sauce to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Prepare the pork chops by making a slit along the edge to help even cooking.
  2. Slice them with a knife to make them thinner.
  3. In a bowl, mix the beaten eggs with the milk, in another bowl put the panko bread crumbs, and in a third bowl, put the cornstarch.
  4. Dip the pork chops in order into the egg mixture, then in the panko, and finally in the cornstarch, making sure they are well coated.
  5. Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve them hot with Tonkatsu sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Let the tonkatsu rest for a few minutes before serving to fully appreciate their crispiness.
