A traditional Ligurian dish, Toccati are crispy pastries filled with fish and vegetables.

Ingredients
- 500g of pastry dough
- 400g of swordfish cut into pieces
- 200g of marinated vegetables (capers, onion, tomato)
- 100g of mozzarella slices
- 2 eggs
- 50g of chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1 whole egg for the crust
Method
- In a bowl, mix the swordfish, marinated vegetables, mozzarella, eggs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Using a fork, gently combine the ingredients to mix them together.
- Prepare a work surface and roll out the pastry dough into a thick strip.
- Dip one end of the pastry strip in the oil, then gather the dough with your fingers and fill it with the preparation.
- Seal the dough well and cut the crostata in half.
- In a hot pan with oil, fry the crostas until they become crispy.
- Serve the Toccati hot, garnished with some chopped parsley.
