Ingredients

  • 500g of pastry dough
  • 400g of swordfish cut into pieces
  • 200g of marinated vegetables (capers, onion, tomato)
  • 100g of mozzarella slices
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g of chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 whole egg for the crust

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the swordfish, marinated vegetables, mozzarella, eggs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Using a fork, gently combine the ingredients to mix them together.
  3. Prepare a work surface and roll out the pastry dough into a thick strip.
  4. Dip one end of the pastry strip in the oil, then gather the dough with your fingers and fill it with the preparation.
  5. Seal the dough well and cut the crostata in half.
  6. In a hot pan with oil, fry the crostas until they become crispy.
  7. Serve the Toccati hot, garnished with some chopped parsley.
