Ingredients

  • 2 tlayudas (fried maize crusts)
  • 100 ml of tomato sauce
  • 100 g of ground beef
  • 100 g of cheddar cheese
  • 100 g of onion
  • 100 g of choice vegetables (bell peppers, red onion, white onion)
  • 100 ml of green salsa
  • 200 g of beans
  • 2 tablespoons of palm oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro

Method

  1. Fry the tlayudas in a pan with a little palm oil until they become crispy.
  2. In a bowl, mix the tomato sauce, green salsa, and beans.
  3. On the first tlayuda, spread the tomato sauce, then add the ground beef, cheese, and choice vegetables.
  4. Place the second tlayuda on top and press lightly to join the two parts.
  5. Fry the tlayuda in a pan with palm oil until it becomes golden and crispy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cilantro before serving.
  7. Serve on a plate and enjoy!
