Stroopwafels with Coffee
This traditional Dutch treat, consisting of two thin, crispy wafers with a sweet syrupy filling, is served with a cup of coffee.

Ingredients
- 200g of sugar
- 100ml of water
- 400g of flour
- 100g of butter
- 200g of powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon of coffee powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- oil for frying
- coffee for serving
Method
- In a pot, combine the water, sugar, and butter and bring to a boil to make the sugar mixture.
- While the sugar mixture cools, mix the flour, vanilla, and coffee powder in another bowl.
- Gradually add the sugar mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until you get a smooth dough.
- Fry small portions of the dough in hot oil to form the thin and crispy stroopwafel.
- Once the stroopwafels are ready, dip them in a bit of powdered sugar for a sweet touch.
- Serve them warm with a cup of coffee.
