Ingredients

  • 8 sopes
  • 300 g of pork strips for chorizo
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon of chili
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Romain lettuce and cucumber slices for serving

Method

  1. Prepare the chorizo: cut the pork into strips and sauté in a pan with olive oil, chili, and salt for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Toast the sopes: in a frying pan, cook the sopes on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy.
  3. Prepare the sauce: in a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Assemble the dish: place the sopes on a serving plate, add the chorizo and sauce, and garnish with romaine lettuce and cucumber slices.
  5. Serve immediately.
