Ingredients

  • 200 g of milk solids
  • 100 g of almonds
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 200 ml of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder
  • 100 g of flour
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of pulled sugar
  • 100 g of chopped pistachios

Method

  1. Mix the milk solids and butter until you get a smooth cream.
  2. Add the milk, vanilla, and cardamom powder, mix well.
  3. In another pan, mix the flour and sugar well.
  4. Then, add the milk solids and butter mixture to the flour and sugar, mix until you get a smooth cream.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until it dries out and forms a thick cream.
  6. Add the pulled sugar and chopped pistachios, mix well.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy the Makkah Sohan Halwa.
