Shishlik with Rice and Tzatziki

A delicious Arab-Israeli dish with fried beef shishlik, thyme rice, and a fresh tzatziki.

Ingredients
- 400 g of beef cut into pieces
- 2 onions
- 200 g of rice
- 200 ml of oil
- 100 g of feta cheese
- 1 handful of fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 piece of zucchini
- 1 piece of tomato
Method
- Dice the onions and mix the beef with the sliced onions, white wine vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
- On a grill, cook the beef pieces until well done. Let them cool down.
- In a pan, season the rice with oil and thyme. Add water, salt, and pepper, and cook over low heat.
- Prepare the tzatziki by mixing the feta cheese with the tomato juice, zucchini cut into strips, and white wine vinegar, and season with salt.
- Serve the shishlik with the thyme rice and tzatziki.
