Ingredients
- 250 g of flour
- 150 g of pastry fat
- 1 egg
- 1 onion
- 100 g of spinach
- 50 g of dried fruit
- 1 teaspoon of ginger
- 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Method
- Mix the flour with the pastry fat and egg to form a dough.
- Boil the onion and spinach, then sauté with ginger and cayenne pepper.
- Add the dried fruit and season with salt and pepper.
- Form small balls of dough and fill with the prepared mixture.
- Cover with the remaining dough and seal the samosas.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
- Serve warm with yogurt or chutney sauce.
