Ingredients
- 400 grams of artichokes
- 500 ml of extra virgin olive oil
- 100 ml of dry white wine
- 100 grams of sugar
- 100 grams of salt
- 200 ml of water
- 100 grams of parsley
- 100 grams of onion
- 100 ml of balsamic vinegar
- 100 grams of red peppers
- 100 grams of green peppers
- 100 grams of yellow peppers
Method
- Clean the artichokes thoroughly and cut them in half along the edge.
- In a pot, mix the olive oil, wine, salt, and sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the artichokes and simmer for 2 hours on low heat.
- Layer peppers and onion over the artichokes in the serving dish.
- Pour the sauce over the artichokes and garnish with parsley.
- Let it cool before serving.
- Serve chilled to maintain crispiness.
