A traditional Rio de Janeiro cake, soft and rich, served cold with sour cream.

Ingredients
- 300 g of flour
- 200 g of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g of butter
- 100 g of dark chocolate
- 1 vanilla pod or 1 vanilla extract
- 100 g of pine nuts
- 100 g of walnuts
- 100 g of almonds
Method
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and butter until you get a well-mixed cream.
- Gradually add the flour and sugar to the egg and butter mixture, mixing well.
- Add the melted chocolate and mix until you get a homogeneous consistency.
- Add the walnuts, almonds, and pine nuts, and gently mix.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Form a thin, rolled cake and roll it on a baking paper.
- Let the cake cool down before slicing it into pieces.

Bolo de Rolo originates from Rio de Janeiro, where it was once a popular festive sweet, often enjoyed during Christmas and New Year celebrations.
