A delicious potato and pumpkin pie, typical of Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Ingredients
- 2 kg of potatoes
- 500 g of pumpkin
- 5 eggs
- 200 g of sour cream
- 100 g of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 100 g of butter
- Salt to taste
Method
- Peel and cut the potatoes and pumpkin into cubes, then cook them in salted water until soft.
- Layer the potatoes and pumpkin in a large container, leaving some space on top.
- Beat the eggs with the sour cream, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and a bit of salt.
- Pour this mixture over the potatoes and pumpkin.
- Cover with a piece of baking paper, then with another container.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 1 hour, checking for doneness.
- Once cooked, let it cool before serving.
