Puri are crispy, sweet pastries perfect for a light meal or dessert.

Ingredients
- 200 g of flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 tablespoon of cold water
- 1 tablespoon of warm water
- Granulated sugar for decoration
- Oil for frying
Method
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and sugar.
- Make a well in the center and add the egg, oil, and cold water.
- Knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 8-10 pieces and roll each into a cylinder.
- Make a long cut along the cylinder and flatten with a rolling pin to form a circle.
- Fry the puris in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until golden.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with granulated sugar.
- Serve warm and crispy.
