Ingredients

  • 200g of flour
  • 100g of butter
  • 1 egg
  • 12 red bell peppers
  • 100g of onion
  • 100g of smoked bacon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

Method

  1. Prepare the pastry dough: mix the flour with the butter until you get a soft dough, add the egg and form a dough ball.
  2. Slice the bell peppers thinly, sauté with oil and garlic until soft.
  3. Slice the smoked bacon and the garlic.
  4. In a bowl, mix the bell peppers, bacon, garlic, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Form small dough balls and fill with the pepper mixture.
  6. Cover with another dough ball and brush with beaten egg.
  7. Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve hot.
