A classic Afghan-Pakistani dish, Peshawari Mutton Karahi is a burst of flavors in every bite.

Ingredients
- 1 kg of lamb, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced
- 3 tablespoons of chili powder
- 2 tablespoons of ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons of black pepper
- 1 liter of beef broth
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
Method
- In a large non-stick pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and chili powder, fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the onions and bell peppers, cook until the onions become golden.
- Add the ginger, black pepper, meat, and beef broth, bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 45 minutes or until the meat is fully cooked.
- Add the salt, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice, stir well.
- Boil for an additional 10 minutes, serve hot.
