Peppered Shrimp

A classic of Negril cuisine, these peppered shrimp are crispy and flavorful.

Ingredients
- 400g of shrimp
- 50g of butter
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3-4 Negril hot peppers, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Method
- Clean and chop the shrimp, setting them aside.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil and butter, then add the onions and sauté over medium heat until they soften.
- Add the Negril hot peppers and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the sauté and cook for 2-3 minutes, adding lemon juice and balsamic vinegar.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the crispiness.
- Serve hot with a side of rice or potatoes.
