Ingredients

  • 200 g fresh spinach
  • 200 g paneer
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 100 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • salt to taste
  • 100 ml condensed milk

Method

  1. Wash the spinach and blanch them in salted water for 2 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
  2. Chop the onions and garlic.
  3. In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic in oil, add the spices and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the broth, bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the spinach and condensed milk, stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add the paneer, gently mix and cook for 2 more minutes.
  7. Serve hot with bread or rice.
