Palak Paneer
A creamy and nutritious dish made with spinach and Indian cottage cheese, served with bread or rice.

Ingredients
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 g paneer
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons turmeric
- 2 tablespoons cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 liter vegetable broth
- salt to taste
- 100 ml condensed milk
Method
- Wash the spinach and blanch them in salted water for 2 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- Chop the onions and garlic.
- In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic in oil, add the spices and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the broth, bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the spinach and condensed milk, stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the paneer, gently mix and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve hot with bread or rice.

Palak Paneer is a traditional North Indian dish, particularly popular in Delhi, where spinach and paneer (a type of Indian cottage cheese) are combined with spices to create a delicious and creamy dish.
