Ingredients

  • 400 g of squid
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g of flour
  • 1 l of olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder (optional)

Method

  1. Clean the squid and cut them into rings about 5 cm in diameter.
  2. In a bowl, mix the eggs with the flour and salt to form a homogeneous batter.
  3. Dip the squid rings in the batter and fry in plenty of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the squid until they are golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drain the squid with a slotted spoon and serve immediately with a sprinkle of chili and vinegar, if desired.
