Mutabbaq is a traditional Arabian sweet, crispy and golden, often served during religious festivals.

Ingredients
- 250 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 100 ml of milk
Method
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
- Add the eggs and milk, mixing until you get a smooth batter.
- Add the butter and mix until the dough becomes a bit denser.
- Form the dough into sheets, spreading them with a spatula.
- Fry the sheets in hot oil until they become golden and crispy.
- Drain the sheets on paper towels and serve warm.

Originating from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, mutabbaq was traditionally a festive sweet, prepared for the Eid al-Fitr celebration for many years.
