Ingredients

  • 500 g of moose meat cut into cubes
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 1 zucchini diced
  • 1 shallot diced
  • 2 liters of meat broth
  • 100 g of lentils
  • 100 g of potatoes
  • 100 g of green beans
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Method

  1. In a pan, sauté the onions, carrots, zucchini, and shallot in a bit of olive oil until the vegetables become translucent.
  2. Add the garlic cloves and sauté for another 2 minutes.
  3. In a large casserole, add the moose meat and meat broth, bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for about 1 hour.
  4. Add the lentils, potatoes, and green beans, stir well and cook for another 20-30 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
  5. Season with salt and red pepper flakes, stir and serve hot in a bowl.
  6. Top the dish with a bit of chopped parsley for decoration.
