Ingredients

  • 500 g of moose meat
  • 2 onions
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 liter of meat broth
  • 1 pinch of red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 250 g of phyllo dough
  • 2 eggs
  • oil for frying

Method

  1. Cut the moose meat into small pieces and sauté it in a pan with a bit of oil. Add the onions and red onion, and sauté over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced carrots and zucchini, and sauté for another 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour in the meat broth, add the red pepper and salt. Let it simmer for 30-40 minutes until the meat is well cooked.
  4. Prepare the phyllo dough by cutting it into strips and forming sheets. Spread a portion of the cooked meat and a bit of beaten egg on the sheets.
  5. Cover the sheets with another strip of phyllo dough and make a central cut to open them up.
  6. Fry the sheets in hot oil until golden and crispy.
  7. Arrange the fried sheets on a baking tray and serve them hot.
