Ingredients

  • 200 g of chickpeas
  • 200 g of potatoes
  • 100 g of onion
  • 100 g of zucchini
  • 100 g of red bell peppers
  • 50 g of scallions
  • 200 ml of water
  • 100 ml of oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 50 g of fried chickpeas
  • 50 g of fried chickpeas

Method

  1. Boil the chickpeas with water and salt for about 30 minutes. Drain.
  2. Dice the onion, zucchini, and bell peppers.
  3. In a pan, sauté the oil with the diced onion.
  4. Add the zucchini and bell peppers, cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the diced potatoes, cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add the chickpeas and broth, bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fried chickpeas and scallions.
  8. Savory and crunchy, the misal is ready!
