A delicious Tunisian specialty made with vegetables and bread, traditionally prepared during the Tozeur festivals.

Ingredients
- 200g of Tuscan bread cut into cubes
- 500g of zucchini cut into slices
- 200g of ripe tomatoes cut into slices
- 1 medium onion cut into cubes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100g of feta cheese
- 50g of chopped parsley
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 whole egg
Method
- In a pan, sauté the garlic and onion in a bit of extra virgin olive oil.
- Add the tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes, stirring often.
- In another pan, fry the zucchini slices in olive oil.
- In a bowl, mix the bread, feta, parsley, oil, salt, and pepper.
- Add the fried zucchini and sautéed tomatoes, mix well.
- In a baking dish, place the mixture and add the whole egg.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes, until the surface is golden.
