Ingredients

  • 250 g of sugar
  • 250 g of mawa
  • 200 g of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g of flour
  • 100 g of dried fruits (almonds, walnuts, raisins)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 100 ml of milk

Method

  1. Prepare the mawa by melting the butter and mawa in a pan and mixing until a smooth consistency is achieved.
  2. In a bowl, mix the butter, mawa, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Add the flour and baking powder and mix until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
  4. Finally, add the dried fruits and milk, mixing well.
  5. Taste the mixture and add more salt if needed.
  6. Pour the preparation into a baking dish and bake at 180°C for about 40-45 minutes.
  7. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
