Ingredients

  • 200 g of oat flour
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Whipped cream

Method

  1. In a pot, mix the oat flour with the butter and milk, bringing to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Continue to stir until the mămăligă becomes creamy and smooth.
  3. Add the sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract, stirring well.
  4. In another pot, boil the milk with the remaining butter and powdered sugar.
  5. In a bowl, beat the egg and mix it with the warm mămăligă.
  6. Pour the warm mămăligă into the boiling milk, stirring well.
  7. Bring to a final boil, stirring constantly.
  8. Serve immediately with whipped cream.
