Ingredients

  • 4 lontong
  • 200g mixed vegetables (zucchini, onions, carrots)
  • 1 onion
  • 200g bell peppers
  • 500g seafood (shrimp, clams, oysters)
  • 100ml coconut oil
  • 200ml fish broth
  • 100ml kecap manis
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 lemon

Method

  1. Soak the lontong in cold water and dice the bell peppers and mixed vegetables into small pieces.
  2. In a large pan, heat the coconut oil and sauté the onion until golden brown.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and seafood, cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour in the fish broth and kecap, stir well and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the lontong and chili powder, stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve with a slice of lemon.
  7. Serving suggestion: serve with a slice of lemon on each plate.
