Ingredients

  • 250 g of flour
  • 200 ml of warmed milk
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of bitter chocolate, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • Sugar for decoration
  • Oil for frying

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder with half of the butter.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs, warmed milk, and the other half of the butter.
  3. Combine the two mixtures and stir well to form a smooth batter.
  4. Add the pieces of bitter chocolate to the batter and stir until the chocolate is fully incorporated.
  5. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Fry the waffles in a non-stick pan with oil until they become crispy and golden.
  7. Serve the warm waffles dusted with a light sprinkle of sugar.
  8. Enjoy them right away!
