Ingredients

  • 300 g of wheat flour
  • 150 ml of cold water
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g of bell peppers
  • 100 g of choice vegetables
  • Oil for frying
  • Soy sauce for serving

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, cold water, oil, and salt until you get a homogeneous dough.
  2. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 pieces and shape each into a ball. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Clean and thinly slice the onion, bell peppers, and other vegetables.
  5. Roll out the dough balls into a rope shape, pulling out a tail-like strip.
  6. Fry the lachha paratha strips in a pan with hot oil until golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with soy sauce.
  8. Enjoy your meal!
