Lachha Paratha

This traditional Pakistani dish is a crispy and flavorful flatbread, perfect to start your day.

Ingredients
- 300 g of wheat flour
- 150 ml of cold water
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1/2 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 onion
- 100 g of bell peppers
- 100 g of choice vegetables
- Oil for frying
- Soy sauce for serving
Method
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cold water, oil, and salt until you get a homogeneous dough.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 pieces and shape each into a ball. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Clean and thinly slice the onion, bell peppers, and other vegetables.
- Roll out the dough balls into a rope shape, pulling out a tail-like strip.
- Fry the lachha paratha strips in a pan with hot oil until golden brown.
- Serve hot with soy sauce.
- Enjoy your meal!
