Laban is a sweet, protein-rich drink perfect for quenching your thirst in summer.

Ingredients
- 500 ml of cow's milk
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 lemon
- 100 ml of water
- 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon sticks
Method
- In a saucepan, mix the milk, salt, sugar, and ground cinnamon.
- Add the water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Strain the drink and let it cool.
- Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and add to the cooled laban.
- Pour the laban into glasses and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
- Serve chilled.
