Ingredients

  • 150 g of krenten
  • 150 g of flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 50 g of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
  • 100 ml of milk
  • A pinch of salt

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Add the egg and butter, mixing until the mixture is homogeneous.
  3. Gradually add the milk until you get a not too dense dough.
  4. Add the krenten and gently mix.
  5. Form balls about 1.5 cm in diameter.
  6. Fry the balls in hot oil until they become crunchy and golden.
  7. Drain the Krentenballs on baking paper and serve warm.
