Ingredients
- 500g of beef, cut into pieces
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 150g of toasted peanuts
- 200ml of palm oil
- 2 tablespoons of Guinea pepper
- 1 tablespoon of Kola pepper
- 2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon of coriander
- Salt to taste
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of chili
- 200ml of water
Method
- In a large pot, heat the palm oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook until they become golden and soft.
- Add the beef and cook until the pieces are half-cooked.
- Add the peppers, coriander, Guinea pepper, and Kola pepper, stirring well.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 40 minutes.
- Add the lemon, lemon juice, and chili, stirring well.
- Cook for another 10 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
- Finally, add the toasted peanuts and stir well.
