Ingredients

  • 500 g of ground meat (pork, beef, and veal)
  • 2 tablespoons of saffron
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of chili
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 100 g of grated bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Method

  1. Mix the ground meat with saffron, apple cider vinegar, chopped onion, parsley, ginger, chili, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add olive oil, grated bread, and egg, mixing well to form a homogeneous paste.
  3. Add honey and gently mix.
  4. Shape the kofta with your hands, being careful not to compact them too much.
  5. Fry the kofta in a pan with olive oil until golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with a yogurt sauce or a vinegar-based sauce.
