Ingredients

  • 1 kg of red cabbage
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 onions
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 1 liter of beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • Parsley

Method

  1. Cut the red cabbage into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the finely chopped garlic and onions.
  3. Add the sliced zucchinis and sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage, beef broth, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  5. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
  7. Serving suggestion: Serve with a slice of crusty bread.
