Jaleeb
Jaleeb is a traditional Saudi Arabian dessert that is a visual and gustatory delight, resembling clouds in a glass.

Ingredients
- 250 ml of lemon juice
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of pull threads
- 100 g of icing sugar
- 100 ml of water
- 100 g of butter
- 50 g of semolina
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of vanilla
- 1 tablespoon of rose water
- 1 tablespoon of almond water
- Baking powder
Method
- In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, water, butter, and semolina until you get a smooth paste.
- Add the eggs, vanilla, rose water, and almond water, and mix well.
- In another bowl, mix the sugar, water, and baking powder.
- Add the honey paste and mix until you get a homogeneous consistency.
- Pour the paste into a pan and cook over low heat until the paste cools and hardens.
- Apply the pull threads and icing sugar on a grid to cool and form a thin layer.
- Cut the paste into small pieces and immerse them in the sugar layer.
- Serve the Jaleeb cold in glasses or mugs, decorating with rose and almond flowers.
