Ingredients

  • 1 kg of zucchini
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 red onion
  • 100 g of polenta
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g of flour
  • 500 ml of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Chopped chives

Method

  1. Cut the zucchini, onions, tomatoes, and red onion into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the polenta with warm water, add salt and pepper, and stir well.
  3. In another bowl, mix the egg, flour, and a little water.
  4. Wrap the vegetable pieces in the polenta, then in the flour-egg mixture, and finally in the polenta.
  5. Fry the Bakwan in hot oil until they become golden.
  6. Drain the Bakwan on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  7. Serve with balsamic vinegar and chopped chives.
  8. Serving: serve hot in a bowl.
