Jakarta Bakwan

A crunchy and flavorful appetizer made with onions, zucchini, and vegetables, wrapped in a polenta crust.

Ingredients
- 1 kg of zucchini
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 100 g of polenta
- 1 egg
- 100 g of flour
- 500 ml of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Balsamic vinegar
- Chopped chives
Method
- Cut the zucchini, onions, tomatoes, and red onion into small pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the polenta with warm water, add salt and pepper, and stir well.
- In another bowl, mix the egg, flour, and a little water.
- Wrap the vegetable pieces in the polenta, then in the flour-egg mixture, and finally in the polenta.
- Fry the Bakwan in hot oil until they become golden.
- Drain the Bakwan on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve with balsamic vinegar and chopped chives.
- Serving: serve hot in a bowl.
