Ingredients

  • 4 beef fillets
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 100 ml of sake
  • 50 ml of soy sauce
  • 100 g of ginger, chopped
  • 100 g of chili, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 120 g of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil

Method

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing sake, soy sauce, ginger, chili, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic and onion until they are golden brown.
  3. Add the prepared sauce and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little water to make a paste.
  5. In another bowl, pour the sauce and mix well.
  6. Dredge the beef fillets in the sauce.
  7. Make a crust with the paste on the beef fillets.
  8. Fry the fillets in hot olive oil until the crust is crispy and the meat is cooked to your liking.
