Ingredients

  • 500 g of chicken pieces
  • 2 liters of chicken broth
  • 200 g of rice vermicelli
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200 g of beef pieces
  • 100 g of shrimp
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 200 g of sliced vegetables
  • 100 ml of coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of ground chili
  • 1 lemon

Method

  1. In a large pot, sauté the onions and garlic in coconut oil until they become golden.
  2. Add the chicken and beef pieces, cook for a few minutes until they become tender.
  3. Add the chicken broth, sliced vegetables, soy sauce, tomato sauce, ginger, and chili powder. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 30 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the rice vermicelli in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the shrimp to the broth and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat, add the lemon juice, and serve the hot broth with the rice vermicelli.
  7. Periodically pour the broth over the vermicelli to maintain its consistency.
