Gomen Wot
A traditional Ethiopian dish, Gomen Wot is a spicy and crunchy vegetable stew, packed with flavor.

Ingredients
- 200g of gomen (wide-leafed vegetable)
- 2 onions
- 2 red bell peppers
- 1 tablespoon of chili
- 1 tablespoon of tritole oil
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Water to cover the vegetables
- 1 onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 teaspoon of mint tea
Method
- Wash the gomen thoroughly and slice it thinly.
- In a pan, sauté the tritole oil with the onions and bell peppers for 5 minutes.
- Add the chili and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add the gomen, water, and salt, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add the lemon juice and mint tea, stir, and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with Ethiopian bread.
