Ingredients
- 8 oz fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons palm oil
- 1 tablespoon cane sugar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon beef vinegar
- Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon
Method
- Wash the ginger thoroughly and slice it into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix the palm oil, sugar, salt, beef vinegar, and black pepper.
- Dip the ginger strips into the oil mixture and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the ginger strips for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
- Drain the ginger with a fork and serve immediately with a sprinkle of grated lemon.
