  • 8 oz fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons palm oil
  • 1 tablespoon cane sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon beef vinegar
  • Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon

Method

  1. Wash the ginger thoroughly and slice it into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, mix the palm oil, sugar, salt, beef vinegar, and black pepper.
  3. Dip the ginger strips into the oil mixture and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the ginger strips for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
  6. Drain the ginger with a fork and serve immediately with a sprinkle of grated lemon.
  7. Tasty and ready to serve!
