Fitfit is a traditional Ethiopian dish, delicious and flavorful, made with bread and vegetables.

Ingredients
- 400g of whole wheat bread
- 200g of mixed vegetables (potatoes, pumpkin, onion)
- 50g of olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper
- Water for soaking the bread
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon of dried chili
- Tomato sauce to taste
Method
- Peel and cut the vegetables into small pieces.
- In a pan, sauté the chopped onion and dried chili in olive oil.
- Add the vegetables and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes until tender.
- Meanwhile, cut the bread into cubes and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the soaked bread with the dried chili and salt.
- Add the cooked vegetables and tomato sauce, mixing well.
- Cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until the fitfit is warm and soft.
- Serve hot, accompanied by a bit of dried chili on the side.

Fitfit originates from rural areas of Ethiopia, where bread and vegetables were combined to create a unique and nutritious dish.
