Ingredients

  • 300 g of flour
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 50 g of honey
  • 100 g of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 100 g of candied sugar
  • 100 g of chopped almonds
  • 100 g of chopped pistachios

Method

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, honey, butter, yeast, egg, water, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Knead well until you get a homogeneous dough.
  3. Let the dough rise, covered with a cloth, in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  4. Prepare a baking tray with a little butter and shape the dough into croissants.
  5. Sprinkle with a little water and sprinkle with candied sugar, almonds, and pistachios.
  6. Bake the honey and butter bread at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Let the bread cool down and serve it warm or cold, as you prefer.
