Egyptian Shawarma
A delicious and crispy dish, Egyptian Shawarma is a delight made from minced beef and vegetables marinated and rotated on a skewer.

Ingredients
- 500g of minced beef
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 lemon
- 200g of sweet potatoes
- 100g of zucchini
- 100g of red onions
- 10 basil leaves
- 10 mint leaves
- 100ml of olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 shawarma skewer
Method
- Clean and slice the red and yellow bell peppers, onion, and zucchini.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- In a separate bowl, dice the minced beef, sweet potatoes, and red onions.
- Add the minced beef, sweet potatoes, and red onions to the marinade and mix well.
- Layer the sliced vegetables and marinated meat on the shawarma skewer.
- Wrap the shawarma skewer with the preparation, ensuring that the meat and vegetables cover the skewer completely.
- Turn the skewer on a moderate fire for 1-2 hours, checking occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with mint and basil leaves.
