Ingredients

  • 200g of prawns
  • 200g of mussels
  • 100g of clams
  • 100g of sweet potatoes
  • 50g of zucchini
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100g of lamb slices

Method

  1. Clean and slice the zucchini and sweet potatoes into thin rounds.
  2. In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic in extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Add the lamb slices and cook for a few minutes.
  4. In a second pan, cook the mussels and clams with a little salt and pepper.
  5. Add the zucchini and sweet potatoes to the pan with the lamb.
  6. Finally, add the prawns and marine ingredients.
  7. Cook everything together for a few minutes, adding lemon juice.
  8. Serve hot with salt and pepper to taste.

The story

Chinchorro de Mariscos is a traditional Chilean dish that dates back to pre-Columbian times, when fishermen used animal skins to catch and then cook marine ingredients over wooden stakes.
