Ingredients
- 1 liter of milk
- 200 grams of cornstarch
- 200 grams of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 250 grams of coconut flakes
- 100 grams of coconut cream
- 100 grams of almond flour
- 100 grams of sour cream
- 100 grams of powdered sugar
Method
- In a pot, bring the milk to a boil with the sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of warm milk to avoid lumps.
- Add the warm cornstarch to the boiling milk and stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and continue stirring until it is thick and creamy.
- Layer the milk-cornstarch mixture and coconut flakes in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle with coconut cream and almond flour.
- Finally, pour the warm canjica over the layers.
- Let it cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
