Caldeirada
A delicious Portuguese caldeirada, a unique dish that combines fish and vegetables in a savory broth.

Ingredients
- 400g of mixed fish (fish and shellfish), cut into pieces
- 200g of potatoes
- 100g of pumpkin
- 100g of yellow squash
- 100g of carrots
- 50g of onion
- 200ml of olive oil
- 200ml of white wine
- 200ml of fish broth
- 2 mint leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for serving
Method
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the finely chopped onion.
- Add the sliced carrots and cubed potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the fish, white wine, and fish broth. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add the cubed pumpkin and yellow squash. Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Finally, add the mint leaves, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately with chopped parsley.
- Arrange the fish and vegetables on a serving dish, pouring the broth over them.
