Ingredients
- 200g of beef
- 200g of pork
- 100g of chicken
- 100g of shrimp
- 100g of clams
- 100g of pork belly
- 100g of shiitake mushrooms
- 100g of scallops
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 chili pepper
- 300ml of chicken broth
Method
- Cut the beef, pork, and chicken into small cubes. Mince the garlic and ginger.
- In a wok, sauté the garlic and ginger in soybean oil. Add the beef, pork, and chicken, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add the shrimp, clams, and shiitake mushrooms. Cook for another 3 minutes.
- In a pot, pour in the chicken broth and chili pepper, bring to a boil.
- Transfer the contents of the wok to the pot with the broth, cover, and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
- Add the pork belly and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with shrimp.

Buddha Jumps Over the Wall is a traditional dish from Fujian that has the legend of being created to honor the visit of a Buddhist monk. According to the legend, the dish was so delicious that a monk would leap over the wall to taste it.
