Brazilian Tapioca Cuscus

A classic of Northeastern Brazilian cuisine, tapioca cuscus is a crunchy and sweet delight.

Ingredients
- 200g of tapioca
- 1 liter of water
- 100g of sugar
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of crushed almonds
Method
- In a pot, mix the tapioca with water and sugar.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Peel the lemon and cut into small pieces.
- In a pot, mix the lemon with water and flour for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the lemon mixture over the tapioca and mix well.
- Add cinnamon and crushed almonds.
- Spoon the cuscus onto a serving plate and serve warm.
