Ingredients

  • 200g thinly sliced beef
  • 200g kimchi
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 4 cups of rice
  • soy sauce
  • powdered sugar
  • ground chili pepper
  • vegetable oil

Method

  1. In a large pan, fry the marinated beef slices in soy sauce and powdered sugar until they are crispy.
  2. Chop the kimchi, red bell pepper, and red onion into thin strips. Add vegetable oil and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan with the vegetables and stir-fry for another minute.
  4. Cook rice in a separate pot according to package instructions. Once done, mix it with the fried meat and vegetables.
  5. Serve hot Bokkeumbap sprinkled with some ground chili pepper on top.
